"Even though she would be a shoe in for governor, I think DiFi has no desire to be part of the Sacramento lunacy. It's a shame, because she'd probably be a good governor."

"because she is a democrat"

On Aug. 29, 2008, after the Demo. Convention, a news report says Dianne Feinstein admitted that she is considering a run for governor in 2010, but will not decide this until much later. The answer is “yes” when Dianne Feinstein files to run in the primary for the 2010 election of the governor of California or actively campaigns to run, even if she later drops out. The answer is “no” if she has neither filed nor campaigned by the deadline. (The closing date of this may be adjusted to the actual filing deadline.)
