I think San Francisco will look beyond Newsom’s shortcomings as a person. When he overcomes the repercussions of his affair and triumphs over his alcoholism, he will only be stronger. There is something human about the error of his ways that may bind the people to him. If you’ve supported him until now, why stop? We’ve all made mistakes, it just so happens that he is in the limelight.

I think the lack of a viable challenger will have more to do with the Mayor getting re-elected than anything else.

I don’t think he will be re-elected. He is a fake. A lot of people have been realizing this. By election time, he will lose because voters don’t like phonies.

It’s funny how those who point fingers are usually the biggest offenders. Gavin has done a great job in San Francisco. Head and shoulders over his predecessor(If you want to talk about fakes, lets talk Willie Brown)! I really don’t care about his personal life. If any of us had to worry about our personal life to keep our job, unemployment would be through roof.
